It's gotten so cold, it seems like just yesterday we were wearing short sleeves.
It's been so chilly, morning and night, that it's time for long-sleeved tees and coats.
It's probably the most fashionable time of year for clothes.
But with this nice fall weather, I've been playing around with black.
Think of it as “clean” as opposed to neutral and dull.
I'll let you know the brand, but I think you can just buy something similar and coordinate.
Tops
Plain white short sleeve tee + black knit + black hunting jacket
Bottoms
Grey wide-leg trousers + New Balance 530 Vintage
If you look at the colours, I tried a bit of "white -> black -> grey -> silvery grey"
This is a black knit with white in the middle in English: #suare knit.
It's not a close-fitting style, but a little over-fitted, and I layered it with a white plain tee inside.
The jacket is a barbour type jacket that many people know, and the jacket I wore is not a barbour, but a brand called
#Dmitry Black, but the barbour has a little bit of wax, so I wanted a lighter jacket. It's a similar design, and it's also available in hunting jacket form in spa brands such as Uniqlo, Top Ten, and others.
The bottoms are just grey wide-legged trousers from Mushin Shrine. Wide trousers! How strange.
Once you put them on, you can't get away from the freedom of your thighs.
The black with peek-a-boo white colour scheme and comfortable but not baggy fit extends down to the top and bottom.
The sneakers are #NewBalance 530 Vintage Grey. As the name suggests,
the silver and grey colours are vintage, so they'll go with almost any pair of trousers
(except for a few sneakers, of course).
It seems to me that the basis of a well-dressed outfit is Tone. Since tone is a combination of brightness and colour,
it seems that tone has a lot of influence on mood.
From tops to bottoms to shoes, if you think about it, everyone has them in their home.
So why not keep it toned down this autumn and go for a dressy but comfortable look?
